Amy Lucky is the director of Ashtanga Yoga Naples in Naples, Florida. Drawing on her research science background, she teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in an experimental style. Amy has a unique skill to connect physical patterns in the yoga practice, while encouraging to remain objective and playful.
Amy has been an Ashtanga practitioner since 2010. She was introduced to the method by her Vinyasa teacher, Jonny Kest in Detroit, Michigan. In 2018, she decided to focus on teaching Ashtanga exclusively. This endeavor was facilitated by masterful training with her teachers Greg Nardi and Amanda Polermo in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Amy continues to offer the tradition of Ashtanga in her teaching, while studying and sharing the elements of vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, myofascial release and meditation techniques. Her passion is to educate teachers and practitioners about the scientific validity of yoga practice and philosophy.
